Welcome to KateCampanale.com!
It’s hard to believe that I have been representing Worcester’s 17th District for almost two years; it seems like only yesterday that I was entrusted with the confidence of your vote!
Though a newly elected Representative on Beacon Hill, I was appointed to the very influential House Committee on Ways and Means, Joint Committee on Health Care Financing, and have worked closely with my colleagues in the House as well as Governor Baker to help create a budget that follows through on our priorities of responsible spending and increasing local aid, while focusing on public safety and education.
During my time in office, I’ve worked hard to follow through on the commitments I made to you.
I have been diligent in upholding my promises to:
- be accessible and responsive to the people of the district
- represent you with respect and appreciation for all you do
- hold our government accountable for the way your hard-earned money is spent
Additionally, over the last 18 months, we’ve taken the time to honor the memory of my predecessor, John Binienda, by securing funding for the revitalization of Coes Pond. The project has been a success, restoring the sandy beach and renaming the grounds John Binienda Memorial Park.
You can read more about these, and other exciting events and accomplishments happening in the district on the news page, or view my Fall 2016 Newsletter to see highlighted news, my legislative report card and community photos.
Every day I consider myself truly blessed to represent the people of the 17th Worcester District. I take very seriously the trust and confidence you have placed in me to represent you and I intend to continue working hard to merit that trust.
I hope you enjoy looking through my website to keep up with my news, events, and photos; perhaps you’ll even consider volunteering to help out with our 2016 campaign!
As we move into election season, I look forward to walking door-to-door and talking with you about the tasks we have accomplished and the work we have yet to do.
We’ve created a lot of momentum for our district – let’s keep it going!
